HAZARD REPORTING REQUIREMENTS All workers through M&M Recruiting Group are to be trained at the workplace due to company standards and be knowledgeable of all workplace hazards and to identify, report, correct and eliminate any known hazards as well as to avoid the creation of new ones. If these problems are corrected immediately, we can prevent unnecessary accidents and / or incidents. We each have a responsibility for our own safety as well as the safety of co-workers.

PROCEDURES: Each employee will inspect his or her workplace and machine to observe for any unsafe conditions prior to starting work. Unsafe conditions include, but are not limited to: Inadequate guards or protection Defective tools, equipment or machinery Fire and explosion(s) hazards Substandard housekeeping Excessive noise Hazardous atmospheric conditions Area congestion Employees have an obligation to report unsafe acts and conditions immediately to the supervisors in the area, where the unsafe.

The Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) is Canada’s hazard communication standard. The key elements of the system are cautionary labelling of containers of WHMIS “controlled products”, the provision of material safety data sheets (MSDSs) and worker education programs. WHMIS is implemented through coordinated federal, provincial and territorial legislation. Supplier labelling and MSDS requirements are set out under the Hazardous Products Act and associated Controlled Products Regulations. The Hazardous Products Act and its regulations are administered by the Government of Canada Department of Health, commonly referred to as Health Canada.

The Controlled Products Regulations establish a national standard for the classification of hazardous workplace materials. In addition to setting out criteria for biohazards, chemical and acute hazards, the regulations specify criteria for chronic health hazards including mutagenicity, carcinogenicity, embryo and reproductive toxicity, respiratory tract and skin sensitization. Each of the thirteen provincial, territorial and federal agencies responsible for occupational safety.

When entering a quality controlled production faculty please ensure the following:

• Remove all jewellery (rings, necklaces, watches, earrings). Single wedding band with no stone is permitted.
• Hair nets should be worn at all times, if required by the company.
• Beards, moustache and side burns are to be covered with beard nets, if required by the company.
• Dust masks must be worn at all times, if required by the company.
• Nail polish or fake nails is no permitted.
• Safety shoes are required while working at the plant at all times.
• Chewing gum or eating candy is not permitted.
• No food or beverage in the production area, only allowed in the designated area.
• Hands must be cleaned and sanitized before working on the line.
• Clean uniform must be worn based on the company policy.
• Open wounds, cuts or abrasions must be covered according to company policies.
• Glass, ceramic and breakables are not permitted unless authorized by the plant.
• If a person experiences dizziness, continuous coughing or sneezing the person must report to the supervisor and leave the line to avoid transmitting any type of illness to workers.
• Personal protective gear is to be worn at all times.
• No vandalism, no harassment, no racism and no alcohol at the workplace at any time.
• No cell phones or any other electronic devices allowed in production premises, only allowed in lunch room.
• Always respect all management, supervisors and workers at the workplace at all times. Bad behaviour is NOT acceptable.
